 Reid Vapor Pressure Cylinder Bath
Reid Vapor Pressure Cylinder Bath. Constant temperature water baths designed for Reid Vapor Pressure determinations of liquid petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gases (LPG). Immerses vapor pressure apparatus at the proper depth per ASTM specifications. Controls bath temperature with ±0.1°C (±0.2°F) precision. Microprocessor PID control provides quick temperature stabilization without overshoot, and bath is protected by an over-temperature control circuit that interrupts power should bath temperature exceed programmed cutoff point. Dual LED displays provide actual and set-point temperature values in °C/°F format. Double wall construction with fiberglass insulated stainless steel tank. A sturdy 25mm (1") flange permits flush-mounted bench top installation for easy access to bath interior. Built-in holders suspend test cylinders at the required depth. Equipped with overflow stand pipe/drain.

 Reid Vapor Pressure Cylinder
Reid Vapor Pressure Cylinder. Polished stainless steel test cylinders for vapor pressure tests of liquid petroleum products, volatile crude oil, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Each cylinder consists of upper chamber and lower chamber in required 4:1 volume ratio. O-ring gaskets provide tight seal between chambers and at gauge coupling. One-opening type cylinder is for gasoline and other products having a Reid Vapor Pressure below 180kPa (26psi). Two-opening type cylinder is for liquid products having a Reid Vapor Pressure above 180kPa (26psi) as described in ASTM D323 and for liquefied petroleum gas products as described in ASTM D1267.

Reid Vapor Pressure Gauge. Choose from several models, ranging up to 300psi. Large dial for precise readings and repeatability. Each unit has a full diameter opening of the Bourdon tube for complete draining of sample. Plastic case seals against moisture and vapor; clear plastic lens with threaded bezel for easy removal; handle. Bronze 1/4" IPS male thread fitting to attach to bomb. Movement: Monel and stainless steel utilizing a bronze Bourdon tube. Enameled black dial has white pointer, numerals and graduations; with recalibrating screw.
